Prabhat Zarda was founded by late shri Chaturbhuj Ram ji, who was born in the 18th century received no formal education through out his life. He was an ambitions entrepreneur and a great visionary known for his for-sightedness
Late Shri Lalit Kumar Arya
His illustrious son, Mr. Lalit Kumar Arya, brought his father's dream to life by setting up a Zarda manufacturing unit at muzaffarpur in 1952.
This unit was a pioneeing venture in those times when no good quality, hygienic and edible zarda product was available in the Indian market.
